Champion Hills Designed by Tom Fazio, Champion Hills is also the master architect's home course & club. The golf course is the centerpiece for the surrounding community where a variety of exclusive residences & home sites are available. Champion Hills is located in Hendersonville.
Crooked Creek Golf Course This 18-hole, 6636-yard, par 72, championship course, situated just 1.5 miles from Hendersonville, is close enough for residents to take off for a quick game on a long lunch hour. Open to the public year round, it has both riding and push carts as well as lessons from a pro.
Cummings Cove Golf Club Designed by Robert E. Cupp, former on-site golf architect of Nicklaus Design Company, this Scottish-style course has been rated as one of the top 50 in North Carolina by GolfWeek Magazine. This 6008-yard, par 70 course features bluegrass fairways and bentgrass greens. Other amenities include a modern clubhouse, pro shop, tennis courts and pool. Cummings Cove is 8 miles from Hendersonville off U.S. 64 W. and is open to the public seven days a week. Tee times are required.
Etowah Valley Country Club and Golf Lodge Conveniently halfway between Hendersonville and Brevard in the small community of Etowah, this public, 27-hole championship course, designed by Edmund Ault and beautified by horticulturist Jean-Claude Linossi, has bentgrass greens measuring up to 9,000 square feet. Its three nine-hole courses and four tee positions allow for a variety of 18-hole combinations. For example, the south course plays from 2,822 to 3,507 yards (par 36), the west course from 2,800 to 3,601 yards (par 36) and the north course from 2,615 to 3,404 yards (par 37 Other amenities include modern lodges, lighted putting greens, a driving range, heated swimming pool, clubhouse, bathhouse, fitness center, pro shop, restaurant and meeting facilities for groups of up to 75. Hendersonville Country Club (828) 693-6507 This18-hole Bent grass championship course was built in 1927 and Designed by the world famous golf architect Donald Ross. Hendersonville Country Club is a private course.
Kenmure Golf Club This beautiful 18 hole, Par 72 mountain course is located in Kenmure, a 1400 acre gated and private country club community. It is located just four miles south of Hendersonville in Historic Flat Rock. The golf course was built and designed by Joe Lee in 1981 and features bent grass and water hazards that come into play on 14 holes. The small greens are fast and well-manicured.
Orchard Trace Golf Club Night doesn’t bring an end to golfing at this 18-hole, 2139-yard, public course nestled in the heart of Henderson County’s apple country. Seventy-two floodlights illuminate its entire 34 acres, making it the first fully lighted links in Western North Carolina. The course is made up of bluegrass fairways and bentgrass greens meandering around a small pond and two winding creeks. Hole distances vary from 81 to 212 yards. The clubhouse features a snack bar and a pro shop.
