Unlike other musical institutions that function either as a school or as a performance series, Brevard Music Center harmonizes both: professional instruction in a soothing mountain atmosphere, with a concurrent Music Festival. This renowned series of more than 50 different concert events, including musicals, pops concerts, concertos, operas, symphonies, bands, choral and chamber music, attracts thousands of listeners each summer.
For seven weeks each summer the picturesque Blue Ridge mountain town of Brevard thrives on a spirited deluge of musical artists, teachers, students of all ages, avid audiences and renowned performers from around the world. The Brevard Music Center is located approximately 20 miles west of Hendersonville. |
